AIR_001 |
$48 |
An original work based on unique archive materials and information given strictly by constructors and planes users (from these times). It describes tens of unknown facts and details, here very high quality photos and b/w drawings have been published for the first time. The book is an interesting source of wide knowledge about Polish planes before 1939. Despite the pictures and rich descriptions of e.g. fight planes, bombers or chasers, there are testing planes, prototypes and projects of planes that were to be done until 1939. 528 pages, 9 x 12 in., hardcover with a jacket, 12 chapters describing in details for example: sea planes, liners, trainers as well as other equipment or even military balloons. At the end of this book there are detailed all symbols that planes, balloons or airships have been marked with. Published in Warsaw, Poland 2003. New! |

Book published in cooperation with one of the British Publishing-Houses in Warsaw 2001. This book describes British planes, which were used in Polish Air Force in the years 1918-1930. In that period the newly reborn Polish State with destroyed industry (after WW 1) had no own planes. In this book you can find such British planes described (and their history in Poland) as: Bristol F.2B Fighter, Sopwith 5.F1 Dolphin, Martinsyde F.4 Buzzard, Sopwith 1F.1 Camel, SE5a, Airco DH 9, RAF RE8, Avro 504K, HP 0/400 and Sopwith 1½ Strutter. Many black&white photos presenting planes, pilots, airfields, planes crashes and overturning as well; photos of documents, tabels, coloured illustrations with planes camouflages. Hard cover, 88 pages, size: 7 x 10 in. New and very interesting book for collectors! |
