$47 |
This is the catalogue of the documents’ exhibition from collection of the Russian National Historical Archives in Sankt Petersburg. Edited by Slawomir Gorzynski, published in Warsaw Poland 2001. Exceptionally valuable publication presenting large assemblage of all these Polonica - heraldic and genealogical documents refered to Polish aristocratic and noblemans’ families and Polish towns crests - collected in the years 1870-1916 ( in the time of Russian occupation) by the Russian’ invaders. The exhibition and the publication are really unique as Polish archives stored in Warsaw were destroyed by the Nazis after the Warsaw Uprising collaps (Municipal Archives of Warsaw and Central Archives of Historical Records were destroyed in almost 100 %). Written in Polish language, hard covered with tassel, 114 pages, size: 8.8 x 8.4 inches. You can find here many high quality colour and black/white pictures of coats of arms, crests and documents in this book. Truly recommended!! |
