This book is a reprint of  an outstanding well known Polish military service historian. Edited in 1912 in Poznan, Poland. Although this book was written long ago (at the beginning of the previous century) it is still  perceived as a great study of the period which is very special in Polish history (known as the Napoleon epoch) as well as the masterpiece in historic authorship. The authors described here especially Polish artillery, engineer and sapper units of the army under Napoleon command. This publication is a very precise monograph with all details. It contains the description of units with their history, campaignes numbers, armaments, uniforms and so on. You can find here such details as: field forges, ammunition/ field supply/pontoon wagons, equipment trains, pontoon bridges, gabions and miner’s equipment, all kinds of used guns, howitzers, mortars, barrels and ammunition. Also such details as positions of a French 12-PDR gun crew when advancing and retreating by “Bricole”, diagram of the principles of siege work, ballistic diagram following Gerhard David von Scharnhorst’s work from 1813.
